I go to brother website and says driver for windows 8 64-bit is already included. this printer is connected through usb. i go to my device manager and right click the com24 and update software, and this printer is connected through usb.. So, i got a new printer (a brother mfc-j4410dw) and cannot get the driver to install. my troubleshooting: 1) i tried installing the driver/software with the windows 8 driver from the brother website (downloading the file & then clicking the file to unzip + run... also tried simply clicking the .exe file located in the unzipped files on another attempt) using a usb connection..
